Welcome to the EHOA website. This site serves as a foundation for our members to share information and to get in touch with one another. There are currently over 1000 files on the site and this figure will continue to grow. 55,000 hits a week is what the webmaster is reporting for activity. We are glad to have you aboard and hope you enjoy visiting often. Sign in on the guestbook. It is always fun to see where all these Eggs call home. Why waste time trying to find those evasive parts when another Egg owner may have the info at his fingertips. The forum gives us an area to post whatever problems/ideas we have. Anything you have to offer will be greatly appreciated. The new Egg Project section will see quite a bit of growth in the near future. Document your efforts and send in some photos to share with the rest. We have some incredible members out there that have boats to be very proud of.
We encourage all Eggs to become members, regardless of age or condition of your boat. The more members, the more information to be shared. Many of our Eggheads have owned 2 or 3 or even as many as 4 Egg Harbors! Expect to see many rendezvous’ starting up as volunteers come forward to help organize them. The Egg Harbor Rendezvous event is coming into its’ sixth year with a 150 boat turnout. What a weekend! It is just so wonderful seeing all those Eggs in one spot. Members are now reserving 2 years in advance because we are sold out 10 months before. We try to keep this event affordable. There is a nominal registration fee of $25 to help defray the costs of the tent and the meals are an option. We know how eggspensive company sponsored rendezvous’ are and we don’t want to discourage any members from attending. We want to see you and your boat!
The efforts of this Association are all volunteer. Many of your workabees also work fulltime and still manage to devote many hours to the EHOA. As you scroll through the guestbook and the photo gallery, you start getting a feeling of the enthusiasm that pervades in this group. If you have any thoughts or suggestions to offer, please let us know. Fortunately, e-mail has made communication a breeze. More and more members are getting on line. Computers have made this possible. Without the website and the ease of the internet, this Association would still be on ground zero.
If you have any original brochures or advertisements for Egg Harbor let us know. We would love to post whatever you may have on the site. Once posted, it will be available for many years for others to enjoy. There are very few boating groups that have the comradery that we eggsperience. Consider this your site.
Aside from the website, we publish 4 newsletters a year. Members are welcome to advertise and/or write in anything they may feel is pertinent. Only paid members will receive the newsletters and they contain all the registration info for rendezvous’ and additional sources which may not be covered in the website. Send in your $25 membership fee and put your members decal on your bulkhead and proudly fly that members burgee. You will be amazed how other Egg folks will start up a conversation with you.
